Originally starting as a telefundraiser and slowly working up into a Team leader, I then moved up in Campaign management. Now I'm growing and learning more than ever before. My duties are not reserved for campaign management, I help oversee all of Acquisition (around 30 staff) and the call floor (40-50 staff), I help coach and induct new and old staff. I find at times a background in the mental health sector and counseling is beneficial, life has many stresses and strains that I would often find myself helping people through. I help with script writing that I do really enjoy, it's nice to make a stamp with something like that and have it go well. I help pass on my knowledge to the newer managers so as to teach them the business and up skill them into the best managers possible. I liaise and work alongside the Ops manager also like a 2IC. At Ways my role is multifaceted and very interchangeable which has allowed me to continue learning more and more about Charity fundraising and the NFP/NGO sector. -
