About Jack Robison

I have recently completed my CA Single Subject Teaching Credential, and I plan to teach English Language Arts to secondary level students.I have also been an Ocean Lifeguard for the City of Newport Beach for 10 years. Now, as a Lifeguard II and Junior Lifeguard Group Leader, I have accepted the roles and responsibilities of a mentor and leader. During the summer months I assist in the daily operations of the Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program, serving nearly 1400 Junior Lifeguards ages 9 - 14. On top of the needs of the Junior Lifeguards, my role requires that I serve as a leader and mentor to rookie lifeguards and Junior Lifeguard Instructors. I believe that my experiences as an Ocean Lifeguard, surfer, and teacher have prepared me to tackle any obstacle head on, with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. I am thrilled about the prospect of becoming a professional educator, and I am eager to continue my journey.
