ASTM Committee D37 on Cannabis was formed in 2017 to develop standards for cannabis, its products and processes. The activities are focused on meeting the needs of the cannabis industry addressing quality and safety through the development of voluntary consensus standards. Launched in 2017, Analytical Cannabis is a media brand focusing on cannabis testing, extraction, cultivation, and the growing field of psychedelics research. Providing a single resource for the latest news, views and technical articles from this rapidly developing industry.I am currently responsible for editorial oversight of the publication including our ongoing news coverage, features, monthly digest, our program of webinars, and our five annual industry-leading online events. Up until March 2020, I was also responsible for the delivery of Analytical Cannabis’ annual in-person conferences in San Francisco, CA, and London, UK. As of January 2021, I have taken on additional responsibilities involving oversight of the online events program for our parent publication, Technology Networks. We provide annual events covering cancer research, disease modeling, drug discovery, food analysis, lab of the future, proteomics, and vaccinology.
