Through my different jobs such as being a lifeguard and also being part of an Emergency Medicine and Care course I find that identifying problems and finding solutions for these problems on the go is something that I am good at. When I am given a problem in a high stress situation I thrive on the challenge to find a solution to that problem.Due to the fact that I have many jobs where I am forced to talk to multiple different customers all day, I thrive on the ability with thinking on my feet and translate those thoughts into words in order to build relationships with people. On top of my retail experience, I find that the majority of my problems are worked out through talking through them, my internal thoughts don’t usually work very well unless I piece it together along with my external dialogue.I love putting myself in high risk situations to feel the thrill of the situation, but before I put myself in the situation I always think really hard about the situation and how dangerous it is going to be. Before I will attempt a new trick or go down a more challenging run in snowboarding I always piece through the different outcomes very meticulously and decide whether or not the reward is greater than the risk. This allows me to always make the right decision and push myself but still get that rush but not to the point of putting myself and others in too large of a risk.I am always having to change to my surroundings in my current and previous jobs. There are always situations where customers will come in demanding something that I can’t supply or ask questions that I don’t have a simple answer to, but I have to react and change to the situation based on what I am being told or what is happening. On top of that on all my trips I don’t plan much, whatever the world throws at me or whatever I find interesting is what I decide to continue to do and I change to different things like the weather and crowds and the cost, etc. As a family person I feel it is very important to guide my life based on certain values that I feel are important to me. No matter what the situation is I always make decisions based on these values. Family is very important to me so when my friends go and have a party during the coronavirus and I want to go see them I make the conscious decision to stay away from them for a little longer because I have to think about my grandparents and the effects I could have on them.
