As well as working as a Lab Demonstrator/Teaching assistant for the Department of Chemistry for the first year Principles of Chemistry Lab (CHM 1711).As a hospital admitting clerk and bed manager at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI), I facilitate the admission and discharge of patients, coordinate the bed allocation, and communicate with various departments and staff in a fast pace and always evolving environment. I also actively volunteer with the Anonymous HIV testing outreach team at Somerset West Community Health Clinic (SWCHC) for various HIV testing outreach events within the Ottawa Region. I have developed strong organization, communication, and time management skills through my academic and professional pursuits, and I am passionate about applying them to improve the quality of care and service at UOHI. I am fluent in English and French, and I embrace learning new things and working with diverse and collaborative teams. I enjoy staying active in my extracurricular activities including uOttawa intra-mural volleyball and community organized run clubs!
