Responsible for the management of the NHs & setting up new ones, working with up to 400 staff & caring for about 1000 residents.Identify challenges & opportunities for areas for improvement & strategic growth. Creating opportunities for students to have opportunities to have their clinical placements in a condusive environment to learn with the staff involved who believes in the same mindset. Work with the teams involved in the care of the residents. Provide advise to the team base on the profile of the residents such as directing the team to look out for residents whose spouse or siblings may be in other NHs & help reconcile & reconnect them. Work with volunteers to provide support to residents which may not be prevalent in the care provided by the NHs.Strategic Development & growth, identify key areas for improvement & without compromising P&L & quality of care."Our People Our Assets" led me to undertand the importance as a leader who is responsible for shaping the working culture to be a team based approach & happy to know that my teammates are supporting me.
