Advised the Battalion Commander in the development, preparation, and execution of all orders and plans; as well as training management, logistical support, and counterinsurgency objectives.Served as the 1st Battalion 353rd Infantry Regiment lead Security Force Assistance trainer and Operations Officer during monthly Combat Training Center rotations (Apr 12 – Dec 12); preparing Brigade Combat Teams for SFA missions in Operation Enduring Freedom. Managed the Battalion’s training management systems; coordinated all training resources to include land and ammunition for all training events. Planned and wrote daily operations orders, weekly schedules, monthly plans, Annual Training Guidance, and the Tactical Standard Operating Procedures for the battalion. -
