I am a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. I graduated in Spring of 2023 and am looking for a full-time role as a Process Engineer. I am currently a part-time employee at Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Inc., where I work on an electromechanical assembly team, specializing in the construction of custom printed circuit boards. My academic experience involves being a part of a research team directed by Dr. Bratoljub Milosavljevic. The goal of our team was to research and experiment on the potential of an innovative technology in the design of solar cells. The technology involves a surface-only fixation of titanium nanoparticles to a photoreactive dye which was experimentally determined to maintain its utility at temperatures as low as -200 degrees Celsius. My additional research was centered around a bacterium capable of consuming carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, and hydrogen, to produce a bioethanol product. This research was used in my team senior design project, in which carbon emissions were taken from a steel mill and put into an extensively designed biochemical manufacturing plant. The plant most heavily focused on a bioreactor and distillation column to generate a high-purity product. An economic analysis and life cycle analysis were performed to determine the profitability and feasibility of the plant design. Through my academic experience in both research and design, I have achieved an extensive understanding of process design that I look forward to utilizing in industry.
