Jack won nine conference titles and a national championship as a high school varsity tennis coach and he holds the all-time best win-loss percentage at the University of Maryland. Jack launched the Urban Leadership Development Group (ULDG) at the suggestion of Arthur Ashe and, as a result, has provided full scholarships totaling more than $400,000 for students who would have not otherwise had the opportunity to attend the renowned Bullis School in Potomac, MD. Many of Jack’s most cherished accomplishments relate to the graduates of the ULDG program. His students would be the first to tell you that Jack teaches so much more than tennis. Jack has taught more than 40,000 students from Montgomery County – he is well known, trusted and one of the most successful tennis coaches in the United States. Jack has dedicated his life to the futures of student-athletes. In fact, his passion for coaching and mentoring youth is so strong; he plans to do it until he is 120!
