- Led the transition into the 500,000+ sq ft brown-field site in downtown Columbus, OH.- Consolidated 4 facilities including warehousing, manufacturing, corporate offices, and retail- Designed the warehouse, procured racking and equipment, installed, and executed the move within three months of employment with less than 6 hours of downtime- The warehouse included selective racking, pick-pack operations, and very-narrow aisle fork trucks with drive by wire capability

Lead for the relocation of bacon manufacturing from Kirksville, Missouri to Coshocton, Ohio. This $57M project made Coshocton the sole producer of Oscar Mayer bacon. The project scope included: raw material storage expansion, novel processes to process bacon bits, automated pork belly trimming, expanded smokehouse and chilling operations, as well as increased the number of bacon slicing and packaging lines.

CI Manager for factory that manufactures processed cheese and snacking products. During this time period I also filled two other roles as interim Business Development (BD/Engineering) Manager and Vertical Start-Up (VSU) Lead.- As the Vertical Startup Lead I led the efforts to deliver 11 automated packaging lines in one year- Implemented an automated system to stack product in an expanded pattern to allow product cooling. Then, the same robot would unstack and restack the product in a condensed pattern for storage and transport- Repurposed two spiral coolers for separate products into a single cooler for a heavier product with a higher heat load- Automated bulk processed cheese in a variety of formats and packaging configurations

- Led improvement efforts in both processed cheese and snacking business units.- Reduced the overfill of a granola bar product by 5.6% through the application of advance DOE techniques- Identified causal factors of breadstick breakage to prevent losses of raw materials- Validated automated liquid ingredient deliveries were accurate by implementing a scale on a rail system

- Obtained Black Belt Certification- Certified the plant at a capability of 3.15 sigma after identifying variation and reducing it- Created ergonomic improvements to work stations and equipment for various roles- Implemented Statistical Process Control charts to improve the consistency of smoking and chilling operations- Implemented systems to insure first-in first-out inventory was maintained of chilled product to improve yields

- Second Shift Lead of weekend operations for the entire bacon manufacturing facility- Managed 100+ union employees from receiving, processing, packaging, and shipping- Processed and packaged up to 250,000 lbs. per shift of USDA inspected bacon on 5 packaging lines- Increased yields and OEE on shift to deliver improved outputs and P&L for the plant

- Increased cure cooler capacity by 40% in the same foot print by optimizing rail layout- Assisted with palletizer commissioning in recently opened warehouse- Installed over 900' of case conveyor with diverters, merges, and traffic control to combine product flows and then distribute to proper lanes for palletizing
