Managed department of 40 personnel with responsibility of installing pipe end terminations, final acceptance testing of the product, packaging and loading single lengths of pipe weighing up to 270 tons. Worked closely with Product Engineering Department on design development and modifications and with Manufacturing Engineering department on installation and productivity improvements. Responsible for inventory control and traceability of all end fitting materials, tools and testing equipment, maintaining appropriate calibration and documentation of all testing equipment. Daily liaison with third party inspectors and certifying authorities on final acceptance of the product.Responsible for development and implementation of procedures for installation of end terminations, acceptance test methods and criteria. Developed special tools and machines for installation of end fittings.

Supervised the Quality Control Department with 22 personnel working on a three shift basis. The quality control of this product includes visual, dimensional and nondestructive inspection, traceability of materials, mechanical and hydrostatic testing, design verification testing and other special activities required to meet industry and customer specifications. Developed practices and formal procedures for all quality control functions meeting ISO 9001 requirements.
