I am a multifaceted professional with expertise in both financial markets and the rapidly growing medical cannabis industry. My journey began with a passion for science, leading to a First Class BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology from Nottingham Trent University, where I was honored with the Susan Smith Prize for academic excellence. Here, I produced my bachelors research project investigating the tumour microenvironment of Glioblastoma multiforme. Upon studying hallmarks of cancer and inflammation during this project I came across the endocannabinoid system. Here, i realised that research is lagging behind in an area that provides great therapeutic potential for a number of ailments where new therapies are required. My scientific foundation, combined with practical experience in in-vivo pharmacology, equips me with a unique perspective on the medical cannabis sector.Currently, I support the expansion of the emerging medical cannabis market by offering consultancy services focused on regulatory compliance, patient education, and business strategy. Leveraging my deep understanding of pharmacology and the healthcare landscape, I help businesses navigate this complex industry and unlock opportunities for growth. I am also open to roles with in the pharma/biotechnology sector within research and development, regulatory and commercial spheres.I am constantly looking for new ways to push the boundaries of scientific research by exploring new opportunities for collaboration and growth.In parallel, along side my ventures in science. I enjoy trading the financial markets, which I read about during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Emersing myself in the field is allowing me to now manage and grow a 5 figure portfolio for proprietary firm FTMO. In order to push myself further and hold myself accountable for my results, I also run a trading community, providing real-time trading signals, weekly market reviews, and one-on-one mentoring to empower individuals looking to explore trading for themselves.
