● Led outreach efforts for the public release of the President’s America’s Great Outdoors initiative, the Vice President’s Recovery through Retrofit program, Federal Sustainability initiatives, and other programs.● Updated public and stakeholder engagement strategies, focusing on broadening stakeholder outreach, new media engagement, and providing greater interactivity.● Developed new initiatives with other CEQ components and EPA including the Green Ribbon Schools program and the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators; Co-led first ever White House Environmental Justice Forum.

● Led Executive Transition Team in the White House Liaison’s office; analyzed membership and vacancy needs for 254 Federal Advisory Committees and developed political priorities for the HHS Secretary.● Policy Lead for data, technology, and open government initiatives for the Assistant Secretary; managed policy review of the US Government’s development of emergency medical countermeasures; coordinated Assistant Secretary’s efforts for the US Government’s 2009-H1N1 influenza response; prepared speeches and congressional testimony. ● Stood up 28 Federal Advisory Committees created by the Affordable Care Act; met all statutory deadlines.

General Election Director, Portland, OR (June 2008 – November 2008)● Directed Barack Obama’s Campaign for Change, a coordinated statewide effort to win Oregon for Barack Obama and Democratic candidates including Senator Jeff Merkley and Rep. Kurt Schrader.● Managed 40 staff and a $1.37 Million budget; built field operation across Oregon, overseeing data, staffing, operations, budgeting, and logistics.● Directed voter registration initiative resulting in 2,159,985 registered voters statewide, a state record.Field Director, Multiple States (April 2007 – June 2008)● Directed the field effort statewide and regionally for Barack Obama’s primary campaign in NH, MA, CT, OH, and OR, building and executing consecutive large scale/short timeframe GOTV operations.● Managed between 11 and 70 staff, multiple field offices, planned and directed data collection and voter targeting and tracking. ● Oversaw May 18th rally of over 75,000 people in Portland, OR, the largest rally in the United States during the 2008 Democratic primary.

● Directed the field campaign for Senator Jon Tester and other Democratic candidates in a 15-county region of Northeastern Montana spanning 40,000 square miles.● Managed nine staff, created a grassroots organization, and supervised GOTV effort of unprecedented scale in Montana.
