I began my career as an apprentice at SHB based in Gloucester and worked a few weeks away every year learning at a remit centre based on automotive painting. After successfully earning a level three IMI paint certification in paint I progressed my career/ enhanced my skills with automotive painting and moved to Cotswold BMW based in Tewkesbury. I went on many BMW training events based at BASF in Milton Keynes learning new skills and testing new products within automotive training eventually leading to achieving a ATA in paint. After four to five years in the automotive industry I moved onto aerospace/aviation paint spraying joining Safran landing systems based in Gloucester I managed to use the knowledge and skills I have within the automotive industry help progress my career into learning painting within aerospace. Whilst at Safran landing systems I am competent in reading complicated drawings within the paint process and painting complicated parts without aerospace. I have recently gained my stamp within Safran landing systems and continuing progressing and learning.
