Jack has a BS in Business/Finance. He Currently works at Compass Commercial in their San Francisco office and Specializes in the Sale and Leasing of Commercial properties. Jack is a Native San Franciscan and currently lives with his family on the Peninsula. Jack started in commercial real estate in 1980 doing leasing and property management for a 300,000 sq ft office complex. Notable leases negotiated were with General Electric, The SS administration, and the county of Santa Clara. During this time Jack assisted in getting approvals of a 500 unit condominium project and 500,000 square foot office retail complex in the city of San Jose. In the late 1980's Jack started selling apartment buildings in San Francisco and the peninsula. In the early 1990's Jack and his brother Jim Silva joined forces at Pacific Union Commercial Real Estate where they worked together as a team selling Apartment Buildings and other investment properties in San Francisco, the peninsula and the Eastbay. Jack and His Brother Jim Silva Moved their business to TRI Commercial in the Mid 1990s where they continued to Sell Apartment Buildings, and commercial properties in the Bay Area. While Jack's brother Jim passed away after a battling a Glioblastoma Jack Has continued to Sell investment properties as well as expanding into the leasing of commercial properties in the bay area. Some notable Sales are: Walgreens, 75 unit development site in San Bruno CA, 2 pride of ownership Apartment buildings on Fillmore Street in the Marina district. Leasing: 900 Marin St in San Francisco converted to a multi purpose entertainment venue called the Midway.
