I have always operated with the mantra that when I do something, I do it right. I apply this mission statement to all the ventures that I undertake in my life. As a second-year Bachelor of Commerce co-op student at Dalhousie University, I am currently learning the ins and outs of finance and other business-related activities. My academic endeavours are fueled by my passion for learning through experience and hard work. I am aiming to declare my major in finance with a minor in economics. Additionally, I have plenty of work experience in various industries. My positions in landscaping, food serving, line cooking, and sales representative positions have shaped me into the person I am today. With these experiences, I developed my work ethic, collaborative decision-making, sales techniques and adaptability skills.Looking forward, I am excited about the opportunities to apply my knowledge of finance and economics, while using my collaborative skills and innovative mindset. My goal is to contribute to an organization by applying my analytical, sales, and problem-solving skills. I thrive in a challenging environment where people have a passion for learning. I am eager to engage in internships and co-op opportunities that will allow me to grow my expertise in finance and economics, preparing me for a future where I can make significant impacts in the finance industry.
