Shell Mars Tension Leg Platform - Gulf Of Mexico

I was originally assigned to Shell's Mars TLP to train as supervisor in 2009. I was transfered to another Shell asset for two years to learn more about their operations on a fixed-leg platform. In 2012, I was transfered back to the Mars TLP as Process Team Lead (Production Supervisor) and promoted into a full-time Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) in January of 2016.

My career in the Coast Guard was diverse and remained operational throughout the twenty-one years of service. While qualified as Search and Rescue coxswain, my specialty was within maintenance in which I developed onboard ships and eventually in charge of a large maintenance depot in Portsmouth, VA. During my last five years, I was responsible for 110 maintenance personnel who performed large maintenance tasks on several cutters. I worked to use Reliability Centered Maintenance methods to change PM's and also created a team of technicians who were responsible for using predictive technologies (ie. Vibration Analysis, Thermal Imagining, and Motor Circuit Analysis). I retired from active duty in September of 2003 to pursue a full-time college education to advance my career and seek other opportunities.
