While working at House of Play I was involved in various projects throughout the company, developing new skills and enhancing existing ones. These skills and projects include: - Creating new designs for the range of soft play rockers available on the online store using Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer. - Designing and developing the new company website from the ground up, improving the user experience and learning key web design skills.- Updating and improving the online store and learning key ecommerce skills to make the site easier to use and navigate for the end user.- Creating marketing material and posters for soft play centres and trampoline parks using Photoshop, Illustrator and Affinity Designer.

I worked as a Freelance Designer, responsible for the graphic design and marketing for Autovaux. I have recently worked on various projects, including:- Re-designing the web banners ahead of the new website launch - Developing new Point of Sale graphics to advertise various product ranges on the trade counter- Re-designing their van graphics- Overhauling the local trade leaflets During this time I have been communicating directly with the managers of the company, presenting my concepts to them and taking their feedback into consideration when making adjustments. After starting my design work, local trade saw a 41% increase in comparison to previous years.

I undertook a placement year at Disruptive Innovation, Leeds. During this time I worked on and lead multiple design projects for a variety of clients in different industries. I enhanced many of my existing design skills, such as 3D modelling, sketching and digital rendering, whilst also being able to develop many new ones due to the wide variety of projects I faced. These projects and skills include:- Creating and editing a range of instructional videos for LED down lights, using Adobe After Effects for the video and Illustrator for the assets. - Designing new products based on client’s briefs using sketching, 3D Modelling and digital rendering, and delivering these concepts to the client in a PDF form for review. - Creating a functional work space for a Lighting Convention in Japan, to display and advertise the client’s brand. - Negotiating with suppliers on behalf of the company to arrange the development of 3D Prototypes and the manufacture of a final concept. - Delivering a variety of 3D Render packages for a client’s product range

I worked as a member of a small warehouse team, in a local car parts business. During this time, I was responsible for handling a large quantity of stock which arrived daily and ensuring it was stored correctly. Whilst in this role, a stock check was undertaken where I was given the extra responsibility of leading a team of employees independently, which included dealing with any problems which arose, boosting team morale and effectively organising their roles during the day.
