Supporting the Vice Chancellor's Office on a broad range of areas including; the University’s policy, communications, corporate events and public affairs functions and providing administrative support for the Vice Chancellor's Office.I work closely with the Vice Chancellor, Director of Policy and Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor to carry out a multitude of tasks including research, briefings, communications and press releases, speech writing and administrative duties.

As part of this role I was a member of the Board of Trustees, making me responsible for setting the strategic vision and direction of the organisation.As an elected representative one of my main roles was to represent student views to the University and lobby for change/improvements in the Student Experience. I gained great insight in this role through being part of important committees and meeting with key University stakeholders, including the Vice Chancellor and his Executive Group members.As VP Community I introduced a brand new volunteering Accreditation Scheme, managing the scheme from its' conception through development, marketing, launch and monitoring. Over 100 students were recognised as awarded with the accreditation by the time I left office. I also successfully lobbied for new, more robust recycling bins to be introduced to our commercial venues on campus.
