Responsible for the safety performance reporting and safety improvements for a multi-billion pound nuclear new build programme. Part of the lead team that developed and implemented the PPP EHS Strategy.Implemented a leading indicator “ Safety Energy “ programme across multiple PC’s.My goal is to ensure health and safety management is joined up, across several blue chip companies within a major nuclear partnership. My interest is growing the Knowingly Safe language and developing a safety identity whilst acting as an Integrator.Developed safety focussed improvements with a bias towards digitisation and development of rich health and safety performance data.Led the “Boots on,Switch on” high profile Major Projects Campaign.Implemented across the programme:• Digital EHS Inspections• Digital targeted inspection regime• Live Leading indicator programme• Leadership programme• Supply chain leading indicator programme• Observation based system which has > 10k raised to date.• EHS Learning portal

I was tasked with leading up health and safety for a consortium which delivers projects and other services within the nuclear arena. My role was to ensure the health and safety management of the consortium partners is “joined up” ensuring nuclear, legislative and client requirements. CNSL attained over 1 Million safe working hours and their first Rospa Gold award over this period.

I was the appointed SHE Advisor on a variety of different projects on Sellafield Nuclear Site. These included radiological demolition projects with coaching and supporting the key supply chain (demolition contractor) to facilitate nuclear,legislative and conventional compliance. This has lead to an interest in demolition and I completed a degree in demolition management.I also support the Shepley based delivery team on major projects as a subcontractor.

I was appointed as a Project Health and Safety advisor on a major contract on Sellafield Nuclear Site. The contract was Multi Disciplined Site Wide, it involved by its nature providing Safety advise covering all disciplines mechanical, Electrical, Civil and access.This framework type contract give me a detailed exposure on how to operate on the nuclear site and I became proficient in dealing with all levels of stakeholders.

I was employed by Shepley Engineers as a project health and safety advisor.I predominately worked on Sellafield Nuclear Site on asset care projects (CNSL), along with health and safety support for a major nuclear new build £700 million + project. This has given me a broad spectrum of experience across radiological and conventional safety.

Number One Printer-The main aspects of my role as a number one Flexographic Printer involved the use of complex CNC printing equipment leading a three man team to provide high quality printing on polythene film that is primarily used in food packaging and pharmaceutical industries. The role involved standard operating procedures, covering ink management, layout design, width and colour specifications.
