I am a highly motivated engineer who thrives on being within a driven and improving environment. I am currently working to gain experience as a process development engineer within a precision engineering environment. I am using a range of lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements and improve manufacturing throughout as well as reducing defects. I have previously configured and implemented a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that was used to collect quality data, manage production orders, control inventory and track maintenance for both machines and metrology equipment. The MES project helped me understand system integration with ERP and CAD databases that were used to import data and reduce the need for manual entry.My career started in Quality and I worked my way up to Senior Quality Engineer before moving to process development. I have experience auditing to the ISO 9001 standard and ensuring we are compliant for annual assessments from the accredited body.I have worked with a variety of metrology equipment and proficient with the calibration of them, working in line with the relevant standards.I have also been involved with inspection processes and I am fully trained to operate CMMs with MCOSMOS software.
