General Collections And Humanities Center

- Responsible for collection development of Dewey 001-099, 370-379, and 929 at Main Library; recommended purchases for the SFPL system in those subject areas; reviewed journal selections in those subject areas - Offered classes to adults and seniors on search strategies and use of SFPL online databases- Conducted an in-depth weeding of Dewey 001-099, 370-379, and 929; reviewed all items on the circulating shelves, in storage, and in reference, refreshing that collection by removing long-obsolete and/or non-circulating or otherwise irrelevant items, purchasing updated materials to refresh the collection- Provided reference service to the public by conducting reference interviews in person, via telephone and via online chat - Served on the Security and Communications Task Force and the Computer Corps
