Joined 998 troop Royal Marines and passed out as a diamond and was also awarded the Commando Medal. After training I drafted to Leconfield to complete driver training completing categories B, C, C+E. On completion of driver training I was drafted to 45 Commando Yankee company to start Pre Deployment Training. I then deployed on HERRICK 14 in the March and returned in the September of 2011. A short time after returning back to RM Condor (45 Commando) I was drafted out to Commando Logistic Regiment (RMB CHIVENOR) as force protection for the Medics of Med Squadron. Whilst at CLR I deployed on numerous exercises and tasks globally including Ex Cetus (Norway) I also helped represent the RN/RM in Bobsleigh for the inter-service champs. The Royal Marines collectively also provided a safe and secure Olympic Games in 2012 which I was also tasked with.
