Hello! I am currently a graduate student at the University of Virginia (UVA) pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering with an expected graduation date of May 2025. I also completed my undergraduate studies at UVA, where I earned a bachelor’s in aerospace engineering with a minor in astronomy. This past summer, I gained valuable professional experience as a Propulsion Engineering Intern with Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) supporting the US Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Specifically, I was involved with the engineering and programatic development of SSP’s strategic deterrence efforts, while greatly expanding my technical and organizational skillsets.I have honed excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities through my role as president of the UVA’s American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) student branch. As president, I have helped facilitate professional development trainings, a guest speaker series, and aerospace themed events for the broader community. This all led to a 250% increase in chapter membership over in the past six months. For the past year I have been an intern with Semper Sky, where I have been immersed in extensive sustainable aviation training and actively involved in market research initiatives. Alongside my academic coursework, I have concentrated on developing my skillset in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), culminating in achieving Level 1 & 2 SysML certification from the Object Management Group. Outside of school I am passionate about comedy and am a disgruntled D.C. area sports fan. I am eager to learn as much as possible from fellow aerospace enthusiasts and professionals!
