Jack Davidson worked in the Forest Industry, and owned a Cedar Mill. He changed careers and became an association manager in the forest industry and then finished off the last 20 years of his career with the BC Road Builders Association As president of the BC Road Builders Jack successfully steered the organization through effective strategic planning, strong government relations and educational programs and effective media and public relations campaigns with a relentless focus on driving value to his members. He also led the development of a safety training organization for the BC construction industry.In 2016 The Canadian Society of Association Executives honoured Jack Davidson with its Pinnacle Award. The Pinnacle Award recipients are accomplished leaders who have demonstrated leadership qualities within their own organizations, contributed to other voluntary organizations and the community-at-large. Jack, as was his father before him, is a past president of the Mission Rotary Club and served as a director on numerous boards over the years. He received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his outstanding contribution to the community and to Canada.
