Whilst I was finishing my PhD, I was the module convenor for "Digital Business" at Canterbury Christ Church University. I created and delivered lectures, seminars and examined coursework. Digital Business explored contemporary commerce from both a social and technical perspective, emphasising the importance and practicality of IT infrastructure, but also, the interface between labour and capital inform the strategy, structure and business processes of organisations.

During my PhD, I created a three-week course entitled "Critical Thinkers" which supported the widening participation efforts of the University of Kent and bolstered the knowledge of A-Level sociology students. My course became the flagship of SSPSSR's widening participation programme and I delivered my course to hundreds of students in the South East of England. My course was very successful and became the blueprint for subsequent programmes. During this time, I also worked closely with my supervisor (Kate Churchyard, Outreach Officer) to expand SSPSSR's widening participation. I helped recruit other ambassadors and I trained them to create their own courses. After Kate left for her career break for Australia in March 2023, I took over as Outreach Officer and handled the the transition to the centralisation of widening participation in the university. Before becoming a leader of our widening participation work, I worked in both recruitment and outreach and eventually became a lead ambassador during my undergraduate. At this time, I managed junior ambassadors and worked alongside staff to deliver events.
