My job as team leader consisted of managing 70 operatives over 5 lines. I was responsible for making sure that everyone was working and producing to the correct standards of the customers and business, that health and safety was been followed and dealing with any issues with operatives. Other jobs included stocktaking, posting hourly figures on data sheets, creating spread sheets, using data for weekly/monthly meetings using excel, communicating with other departments, dealing with orders, products and stock, pushing hourly efficiency, product quality checks, waste management and giving tours of the area when there are visits.

I was responsible for maintaining, running and improving over 30 machines on a daily routine of quality checks, safety checks, fixing any problem that would stop production in the quickest way but always keeping health and safety in mind, implementing ideas of getting more money out of the 15000 hourly product I would process by adjusting machines to get better yield. I also needed to communicate with managers/supervisors that my machines supplied about issues and orders, setting up programmes to bypass certain weights for different orders/products, coming in on none shift hours to work alongside engineers to service my lines, machines and area parts as part of my grade 2 status.

My jobs at FC Soper included greeting and serving customers with a welcoming, friendly and professional manner; Selling our product that customers need and also try and sell product that they might be interested in, preparing the product by skilfully using a knife to the customers wishes and packaging the customer’s order. Other jobs included taking phone orders and preparing the order for the customers dead line, stocktaking, cleaning the company's vehicle, storage areas, and shop at closing time, exchanging money and till work and knowing all our 200+ products and ways to eat and cook.
