Placement 1: People Advisor, People Partnering- Group Executive Functions

Worked as a camp counselor with teenagers over two consecutive summers. Instructed activities in hiking, pickleball, dodgeball and cooking among many others. Also managed alongside my two co-counsellors a cabin which peaked up to 22 kids, which improved my leadership skills.

Working part-time alongside my studies.I have developed skills of collaboration and teamwork, the ability to work in a high-pressured environment in order to deliver customers orders accurately and promptly.

On placement at the School of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics. Created an induction process for Pathway 2 researchers to make this process in lined with the other pathways.Additionally, I researched how the school could improve its methods of recruitment, retention and exit. Skills learned/developed: communication: working with researchers to try and establish their wants/needs for the induction process Critical thinking: Evaluating different possible methods for improving induction, recruitment and exit, evaluating why some techniques may be better than others in the final report. Problem solving: attempting to create a process that was financially feasible
