I am lucky enough to work as a Paramedic for Medic Ambulance service in Northern California, USA. Before moving abroad I lived and grew up in the rural town of Bendigo, where I completed my schooling and furthered my education at La Trobe University, completing a Bachelor of Public health Promotion/Paramedic Practice. I completed a further 2 months of education at SouthWestern College in San Diego bridging the gap between the Australian and American National scope of paramedic practise. Roles in my previous employments have seen me work in an array of diverse environments, taking on numerous responsibilities. Outside of work I have been involved in various sporting teams, community events and been lucky enough to travel to many countries both accompanied and solo. These experiences have led to the development of many transferable skills that have molded me into a very well-rounded person.With an enormous passion for helping people and adventure, I have my sights set on a rewarding career in Paramedicine, hoping to eventually thrive in a Paramedic/Firefighting role where I am currently taking steps to achieve these goals. With constant advancements in lifesaving interventions, these avenues excite me for their multiple avenues of career progression and opportunities for ongoing learning, in an environment where you’re constantly making a difference in people’s lives and no two days are the same.
