Served as an embedded tutor for the college, helping students learn Psychological Research and Statistics (PSY 200). Assisted students with statistical programming assignments (R), helped them to understand statistical concepts, research methods, and research processes.

Worked in the Traumatic Stress & Health Laboratory within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Duke University School of Medicine. I conducted recruitment and screening for an NIH-sponsored study focused on the impact of cannabis reduction on neuropsychological and psychosocial functioning among persons with heavy cannabis use. I assisted with laboratory procedures, performed data entry, and conducted literature reviews using PubMed, PsychInfo and other relevant search engines. Additionally, I completed 40+ hours of research training including the CITI program Research, Ethics and Compliance training.

Assisted in the Neuropsychology Division, working on several federally funded research projects within the Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery and Education (SCORE) program, as well as shadowing Clinical Neuropsychologists. Lead research project regarding Metamemory in children ages 6-12.
