I am a pharmacy intern at St. Vincent's hospital currently completing my graduate entry intern training and foundation programs at Monash University. While completing my internship in the hospital setting, i also currently work as an intern pharmacist at Terry White Chemmart. I am able to dispense and counsel to patients on all schedules of medication. Furthermore i am also able to communicate well with consumers by use of communication skills (like active listening) and creating visual aids when information pamphlets are insufficient. With my four years of retail experience, i am able to translate my skills from the retail to hospital pharmaceutical settings seamlessly. I previously worked at KFC, working as soon as it was legal for me to do so at 15 years old. While it is not related to my desired field of Pharmacy, it set the foundations for customer service, teamwork and leadership skills; which over the years have been refined and improved.
