I am a recent graduate from Mount Saint Mary’s University with a degree in psychology, and I am dedicated to using the knowledge and skills from my education to begin working within my field of study. While I was earning my degree, I gained beneficial experience working in a psychological laboratory with non-human subjects, research in various subfields of psychological science (including abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, adolescent psychology, and behavioral science), as well as data gathering and analysis. My passion for psychological science is rooted in my interest in working with other people and providing platforms for success. In my current position, at The Emmitsburg News-Journal, where I work as the Lead Arts Reporter and assistant editor, I correspond with and reach out to members of the community to highlight local events, and created a public website where they could reach myself and other local creators. In a former position, as Customer Representative at The UPS Store, I managed a transition in ownership to meet the goals of both my employers and clients. I find a lot of enjoyment in helping others meet their own versions of success as well as my own! When I am not working, I love watching football, baseball and basketball with my friends (with a clear New York bias), catching up on the most buzzed-about show on Netflix, or reminiscing my travels in Europe. I look forward to connecting with you!
