Spent the summer over at Stryker Orthopedics as an intern taking on the position of inbound inventory specialist. I worked with the rest of the team in the Columbus Hub where I would perform tasks such as building cases to be shipped out to hospitals for the Joint Replacement department, the Upper and Lower Extremities department and lastly the Trauma Department. Building these cases involved putting together large totes that hold a variety of implants for an assigned surgery case. We would then ship out the equipment along with a set of surgical tools needed for the operation. I was also brought along to see how I could help improve the efficiency of how the Columbus hub operates and if there was a better process to be developed to smooth things over. I was able to help set up a system that would allow existing as well as new employees to have a much better grasp of how things are run and where everything is at in the facility. This was done in hopes that any new employee could easily learn the process and be caught up with the rest of the workers.

I worked as an independent contractor for North Steppe reality. I was an Onsight maintenance worker every summer for the past 5 years. I worked with tenets on their own schedule to fix issues within the apartment or house they were renting, this included fixing appliances, window blinds, light fixtures, bathrooms and anything else the tenants needed to feel comfortable in their living space.

Completed a ten week internship at Makeshark learning about marketing and design. It has always been a passion for me to become an entrepreneur and Makeshark has helped me grow and get more of an idea on how to fulfill that idea of becoming a business owner.
