The OurFallenHeroFoundation OFHF honors the memory of Aaron Toppen PFC killed in Afganistan in a freindly fire incident in June 2014. The 501c3 foundation solicits chitiable donations through annual fundraising events and presents them to larger partner non-profit organizations for use. Our current partner is the USO and past partners have included the Pat Tillman Foundation, Puppies Behind Bards, Warrior Wishes and Fisher Housee. Toppen was my kid nephew, son of my little sister, and the pain of his FUBAR demise at age 19 can never be eased but this small charity has raised over $400,000 for noble causes since its inception and helped to keep his memory alive. Previously: As a 35+ year veteran of worldwide exchange and broker/dealer system development, sales, and project delivery in a variety of business and operational roles, I have mileage and a couple skills. Mostly among them: fast talking as needed. But also I did a little business development, technology sales, program/project management, team building, team leading, system design/development/implementation. I'm an all-rounder and confident in the world of OLTP systems in any form, especially trading in the front/middle/back office, regulatory IT, and operations. I used to do business analysis, requirements development (functional and non-functional), SDLC articulation/implementation, organizational education, architecture, design, development, application implementation, capacity planning and performance, availability, disaster recovery and failover.Fond memories, to the extent that I can remember anything.
