Territory Account Manager, Portsmouth and Guildford.Develops and manages a client portfolio comprising 200 hair salons, building significant relationships with decision makers within key and national accounts to drive sales of hair products and maximiseprofits across the Portsmouth & Guildford territories.Provides integral support in the absence of the Area Sales Manager, using leadership, coaching and mentoring skills to improve sales and marketing competency levels of account managers.Introduces a wide variety of ghd products to hair salons, managing the complete sales cycle from initial product introduction to full account management.Conducts daily sales presentations with clients in accordance with targets, winning new business and negotiating contracts at manager and director level.Devises and implements strategies to develop new relationships with salons and increase the ghd product offering in accordance with the sales business plan. Identifies new business opportunities through effective networking at trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.Works closely with the ghd education team to ensure all salons are supported by ghd education programmes.Delivers regular training to salons using a variety of teaching methods, including the use of live models to demonstrate new technology and products.Helps to develop the social media presence of salons, enhancing their online presence through mediums such as twitter and facebook.Supports client fundraising events and product launches to increase their exposure and brand awareness.Works closely with cross functional teams including Digital; Marketing & Nationals, and Credit Control.
