Hello, my name is Jack Wright and I am currently a post-graduate student at Fanshawe college, studying sport and event marketing. My original background is in the health care industry, specifically mental health, where I have been apart of various initiatives through volunteering, work, and undergraduate projects.Being a psychology graduate, I was exposed to data collection and analysis throughout my undergraduate studies. Through this, I came to realize that my love of sport and working with data could translate into a career in the sports industry. More specifically, sports analytics is a vast interest of mine and something that I want to pursue in the future. My ultimate goal is to work for a sports organization in sports analytics, and I believe taking sports marketing is a great start for my future aspirations.
