My role at geo initially focused on managing the integration of ONZO’s SaaS services into geo’s wider product offering. I was also responsible for shaping the company’s vision, strategy and execution of new data analytics products, with a focus on generating actionable insights to homeowners based on their unique behaviour and energy usage patterns. Tier 1 energy suppliers deployed this service via various digital channels (App, notification, email, website), empowering homeowners to make informed decisions about their energy use and reduce costs. Whilst in this role I also supported on the delivery of Stream 2 of the Heat Pump Ready programme, which was funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. geo’s AI Smart Heat Pathway project focused on enabling rapid, high-quality and scalable heat pump deployment in the UK. The focus was the use of AI on smart meter and smart thermostat data to determine a personal net-zero pathway for each home, and size the appropriate heat pump, from actual measured data. Show less

These insights can be used to deliver outcomes including improving energy efficiency, reducing customer bills, increasing digital engagement, optimising sales and marketing channels, and reducing cost to serve.I joined ONZO early on when it was a start-up and was instrumental in their growth, which led to the company being acquired in 2021. My core responsibility was to define and drive the product strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with ONZO’s overall business goals and market demands. Day-to-day I managed the delivery of ONZO’s SaaS solutions to large energy retailers across Europe, including the U.K, Spain, Norway and the Netherlands. This included measuring and analysing the performance of ONZO’s products and engaging customers to drive end-user adoption of the service they have invested in. My key achievement was managing the first large scale commercial rollout of ONZO’s technology by a Tier 1 energy retailer, from executing the proof-of-concept trial to agreeing contractual terms for the commercial rollout.
