Working in a newsroom alongside journalists, producers and editors, managing the media used to produce content for CBS News. I was responsible within a team of media managers, for the intake and delivery of current news footage and archive for CBS News teams throughout the world. This role involved liaising with various teams within the CBS Corporation in America and providing them with the footage they require. This means working with the CBS News division,60 Minutes or CBS Newspath.I worked with CBS shot footage as well as agency material, pitching and archiving relevant footage for future use. My role involves monitoring on-the-day footage as it is fed into our digital system, keeping all the best pictures for their long term reuse value. This required a level of editorial knowledge and constant communication with producers, editors and correspondents in order for them to create the best stories they can. The role also involves an in depth understanding of the work flow in order to catalogue these digital files to make them searchable and easily available to journalists in future.

Working on a media-management project to digitise CBS London's vast archive of SX and SP tapes. My role includes ingesting, logging and archiving footage both CBS and file footage into a into a modern digital library that can be easily identified and restored through simple metadata references.

Working with FilmNova on the Great Run events. I worked as a production and camera assistant on FilmNova's production of Seb Coe's IAAF Presidency Bid film during the Manchester City Games. I worked as a production assistant during the Great North Run and as a cameraman, shooting the "I'm running for"​ segment which subsequently aired throughout BBC One's Great North Run broadcast.

I predominantly worked in the bars of the business and also conducted the training of newly recruited staff. This was a result of being selected as the member of staff from my business to be involved with Mitchell's and Butler's 'Buddy' scheme.
