My first engineering work experience was as a research assistant at a university in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My work included CAD modelling, simulation, experimental data and theoretical calculations to inspect the suitability of an offshore pressure vessel and compile this in a technical report. This international opportunity taught me the importance of differing viewpoints for complex problem-solving.
