Hello! My name is Jack Pearson, and I am an Honors Business student at the University of Pittsburgh. I am majoring in Finance with a minor in Spanish, and I am currently writing a BPhil thesis focused on sustainable consumer behavior and value.I have a passion for Sustainability and ESG and am determined to make an impact on our planet.My experience began at Diamond Tropical Hardwoods a sustainable reforestation and lumber supplier where I have held many different roles. Most recently I launched our DTH Marketing Internship program where I worked with interns to create content for our website and marketing efforts. At University I have been an intern at the Center for Sustainable Business and helped create a new undergraduate course to increase sustainable business education at our University. I interned during the spring semester at Federated Hermes where I worked on the Responsible Investment desk. I returned to this role the following fall semester.This past summer I was an intern at BNP Paribas, a leader in sustainable banking. I rotated on both HY Credit Research and Equity Research - Software & Tech. I was extended a return offer to join Equity Research.Finally, I recently started a new venture Forevergreen, with the mission to calculate, track, and reduce consumer carbon emissions.
