Having received a 1st class honour my MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology at the University of Limerick, I went on to achieve my BPS accredited Psychometric Tester User Qualification. These achievements allowed me to land a dream job with a dream team as a Organisational Psychology Consultant with Aon Assessment Solutions. I loved this job and my team. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work and succeed with them by my side. However, as my partner had been away from home for so long, we decided to move to Melbourne Australia to be closer to her family and I am thus looking for a new dream job with a dream team where I can learn, grow, contribute and utilise my expertise in the field that I adore, Organisational Psychology and all the areas which fall under it's large umbrella. My previous educational history includes four years of study at the National University of Ireland, Galway where I received an academic scholarship of excellence in my first year, graduated with a BA in Economics and Behavioural Psychology and a Higher Diploma in Psychological Studies. I am keen to develop my critical analysis ability, human resources skill and evidence based practice implementation, to embody all the facets of a scholar-practitioner in an ever changing and always ambiguous organisational landscape.I would consider my character/signature strengths to be Persistence, Honesty, Integrity, Compassion, Work Ethic, Judgment, Perspective & Gratitude, amongst others, or at least that's what the psychometric tests tell me. Between courses, I have done a lot of travel around Europe and the world, having lived in both Melbourne and Vancouver for extended periods of time. Living abroad has taught me many things including open-mindedness, striving through adversity and in new situations, and embracing ambiguity and diversity. New places and new endeavours create different opportunities & constraints. I welcome each and every one with a desire to adapt, overcome and excel. Thanks for reading!
