Brand ManagerZizzi Restaurants Nov 2010 - Jan 2013London, GbMajor responsibilities spanned the full breadth of the marketing mix including local marketing implementation, developing new opening and refurbishment marketing plans, national and local e-shots (from concept to deployment), social media management, copywriting, budget management, local PR, event coordination and print management.Managing the above for nearly 130 restaurants whilst ensuring our approach was different to ourcompetitors in an extremely competitive market required hard work, organisation, creativity and a desire to build a good rapport with stakeholders at all levels.HIGHLIGHTS* Leading the development of a Local Marketing Programme applicable for all 130 Zizzi restaurants.The challenge was to balance the need to empower the teams with the tools and capabilities toactivate a local marketing strategy within their restaurants whilst ensuring that all marketingcommunication remained on-brand at a local level whilst being tracked at an Ops level.* Working in collaboration with a copywriting agency and our Internal designer Tobias Hall onadapting and aligning our tone of voice with our design output resulting in a range of posters usedin print media including London Underground advertisements* My first year saw me winning the head office Supporter of the year, voted for by Head Office, Opsand restaurant managers. -
