Created and reviewed designs and high level estimates from an enterprise perspective, resulting in consistent versus accidental architecture, uniformity of design, early surfacing of core issues, and more uniform prioritization of client demands. Served as App Dev technical liaison for the Windows 7 upgrade project, which prepared for a "big bang” replacement of 10,000 end user devices with new hardware running Win7, and which completed the testing and remediation of 800+ incompatible apps. Advised as internal consultant for emerging development issues, such as evaluating the fixed assets accounting upgrade. Advocated and promoted new development tools and techniques, such as the use of JQuery in .NET intranet web design for better response time and easier maintenance. Participated in the definition and enforcement of standards for coding, design, and system life cycle. Served as enterprise Application Architect for collaboration, document management, portal, and intranet. Architected the deployment and support of SharePoint 2007 for collaboration, file sharing, and news dissemination. Conducted the SharePoint extranet study.
