Centrally located in the US state of Kentucky, Demeetra AgBio was launched in 2019. Since inception we have built extensive gene editing know-how, complementing our internally developed as well as globally sourced portfolio of intellectual property. Our scientific team is composed of experts with diverse backgrounds in gene editing, ranging from microbes and plants to mammalian cells. Scientific achievements include being the first to successfully edit plants and yeast with our precise Cas-CLOVER technology.Demeetra’s core focus is developing and optimizing gene editing technologies in commercially applicable systems. We transfer this new knowledge to our partners and provide simple commercial licenses with freedom to operate. We have experience in partnering and out-licensing with top pharmaceutical, biotech, and agtech companies. Our team works closely with collaborators to ensure successful implementation of Demeetra’s gene editing technologies for their specific application.

Mr. Crawford formerly directed the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development Divisions at Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. He has experience private equity financing, product development, licensing, technology and patent evaluation. He contributed to nearly all aspects of Transposagen’s rise from pre-revenue start-up to $100M+ valuation (including spin-outs). At Hera, Mr. Crawford is responsible for fundraising, revenue generation, intellectual property development, licensing and corporate governance. Mr. Crawford holds a BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Biotechnology from University of Pennsylvania.

• Developed the commercialization, sales and marketing plans and launched all company products which led to a 184% increase in revenue of custom rodent model creation services, a 235% increase in molecular reagent tools products & services and a 293% increase in licensing revenue from 2012 • Recruited, built and trained an inside and outside sales force • Executed new business and/or Master Service Agreements with all 10 of the top global pharmaceutical companies • Developed relationships and penetrated the agricultural biotechnology market

• Developed the commercialization, sales and marketing plans and launched all company products which led to an overall increase in revenue of 400% from 2011• Executed agreements with international research institutions for clinical applications of Transposagen’s piggyBac technology for cancer immunotherapy, introducing the company to billion dollar markets and paved the way for a successful Series A private equity investment • Developed and managed all relationships with international distributors including Japan, Europe and India• In-licensed new stem cell technologies from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Rutgers University RUCDR which became a core product and service in 2013-2014• Increased 2013 revenue by out-licensing the piggyBac technology to a variety of biotech and pharmaceutical companies for research and bioproduction applications

• Developed multi-institute collaborations which led to the discovery of a novel drug target for pain as well as small molecule candidate introducing the company to potential billion dollar markets. Co-authored the related scientific publication in Neuroscience 2013 and co-invented all related patents• Led internal product development activities and contributed to external in-licensing leading to the first molecular reagent products which constituted ~50% of 2013 revenue• Developed all company marketing materials, built company website which has generated over 3,000 sales and collaboration leads to date • Out-licensed technologies for commercial applications in new markets which increased revenue and brand awareness

• In-licensed, developed and executed the sales launch for company’s first commercial products of over 300 genetically engineered rat lines from the Hubrecht Institute, The Netherlands • Following a successful internal sales launch, out-licensed commercial products to Charles River Labs (CRL) and Taconic Farms Inc. for increased market penetration and brand awareness• Co-invented and authored 12 patent applications, multiple patents have been issued
