I have a broad experience within real estate. My passion and experience specifically is in retail real estate. This is where my heart lies. I just love retail and shopping.In my opinion retail is for everyone. A good shopping centre plays a very important social role and adds significantly to the amenities and image of a city or region.With my experience and specialism on development, positioning, tenant mix and leasing of shopping centres it is my ambition to play an important role in making shopping centres more attractive for all parties involved, such as the consumer, the local authorities and community, the retailer and the investor.I am very much involved and result driven and have the disposal of an extensive network within the retail and real estate sector, both national and international. Since 2000, besides my day-to-day work, I am the Secretary General of SSM Retail Platform, the leading platform in The Netherlands for bringing together a range of disciplines in the retail sector. Its main objective is to gather, enhance and exchange knowledge about and identify developments in the retail and retail property sector. SSM Retail Platform organizes lunch meetings, symposiums, study tours, quick trips and company visits. These activities are open to both sponsors and those involved in the retail property market.
