Targeting – Distributes knowledge; analyzes and predicts patterns; maps devices to a group or person; analyzes links and networks; and conducts all-source fusion. Sourcing – Identifies state or transnational sponsorships; tracks component movement; identifies manufacturing processes; and identifies network leadership financing. Support to prosecution – Matches individuals with a place, device, event, paraphernalia and/or weapon and compiles a forensic examination of latent prints, DNA, tool marks, assemble patterns and trace evidence.

Once a combatant commander requirement has been validated, JIEDDO can develop a solution and have it making a positive effect on the battlefield in as little as three-to-four months — 75 percent faster than the regular military acquisition process. JIEDDO consolidates the Department of Defense's three major decision-making processes (acquisition, future requirements and financial management) under one authority to streamline decisions and allocation of resources. This, coupled with flexible funding authorities provided by Congress, enables JIEDDO to respond rapidly to the warfighter, threat and situation.

Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, Salvage Diving Officer, and Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Officer. While on active duty, served as Officer-in-Charge of EOD and Diving/Salvage detachments deployed in support of numerous campaigns including Operations Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and the Global War on Terrorism. Additionally deployed in critical operations, planning, and force protection billets on several command staffs, culminating with assignment to the Joint Task Force for Combined Disaster Assistance Center (CDAC) Pakistan where responsible for the daily operational oversight of 1,700 uniformed personnel executing the humanitarian assistance effort following Pakistan’s devastating earthquake in 2005.
