As Treasurer, I worked closely with the President and Vice President, as well as a number of portfolios, including Operations, Marketing, and Sponsorships to help facilitate each portfolio’s initiatives. My key responsibility was to manage the society’s financial health through planning and managing expenditure, applying for ActivateUTS grants and ensuring correct implementation of ActivateUTS re-affiliation requirements.

I led a team to create innovative solutions in response to the problems and pain points expressed by our client, ActivateUTS. My team won the UTSCC Consultant Cup case pitching competition as judged by a panel of Strategy&/PWC Consultants.

I assisted Learn Now Publications in the drafting, reviewing and publication of textbooks for the topics of Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Contract Law, Company Law, Insolvency Law and other legal and business topics. This experience enabled me to focus on my studies whilst bolstering my knowledge of Accounting, Business practices and the Law in a professional, real-world setting. I utilised my existing research skills and writing capabilities to produce literary work that is accurate and beneficial for TAFE and university students in Australia.

I worked closely with senior staff and autonomously to research industry trends, analyse internal and external data, and to conduct user interviews and site inspections of branches in the ACT and in Sydney. I did this for the purpose of formulating innovative ideas to be incorporated in the development of the Beyond Bank ‘Branch of the Future’ within its Integrated Delivery Model. This process expanded my financial services industry knowledge and challenged me to utilise my existing legal and consulting skills in a new professional environment. At the conclusion of the experience, I pitched ideas which had been synthesised into a pitch deck to a panel of a dozen company executives.

The Indigenous Teaching and Learning Committee (ITLC) is a specialist consultative forum providing strategic advice and guidance in relation to cross-university Indigenous teaching and learning matters. The ITLC reports to the Vice-Chancellor’s Indigenous Strategies Committee. I was the student representative on this Committee in 2022.

Across my 4+ years at BSV I worked as a clerk then paralegal, assisting lawyers in the areas of Property and Commercial Law, Litigation and Liquor Licensing & Gaming. I worked as paralegal for Ms Jennifer Hold, Special Counsel for Litigation. I assisted Ms Hold by conducting research, preparing documents and providing advice on matters of property, commercial and corporate litigation.

I worked with the proprietor of Southern Highlands Firewood to create an early-stage business plan, marketing plan and impressive website. I combined my commercial knowledge and problem-solving skills to assist in the early development of a small-scale business with room for appropriate growth.

Throughout 2018 and 2019 I coached and assisted various sporting teams in Cranbrook's Junior and Senior School Cricket and Rugby programs.
