Ensure that the correct soldiers are identified, pre-deployment training and medical requirements are met and that all logistical planning is in place to deliver the right force to deliver first class training to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.• Planning and delivery of a £1 million virtual exercise to experiment with and develop future force equipment. Conduct logistical, financial and operational planning to deliver an inter-agency project alongside civilian companies meeting Defence objectives.

Episkopi, Cyprus

Responsible for: • The planning and delivery of training to a Battalion of 400 people operating in a joint force and multinational context.• Develop comprehensive training packages in line with defence policy to prepare 2 MERCIAN personnel for operational commitments across Cyprus and the mediterranean.• Manage Battalion Training Qualifications to ensure the unit's delivery of assigned outputs and preparedness for all future activity and operations.• Plan, resource and deliver collective training events for over 100 service personnel to validate soldiers for operations. This included the identification, assessment, treatment and management of high risk and risk to life activities.

Episkopi, Cyprus

Short term placement in HQ British Forces Cyprus, responsible for:• Logistical and operational planning for the movement of a Battalion of 1000 soldiers and their families from Chester, UK to Episkopi, Cyprus.• Operating in a joint force headquarters to plan and deliver a variety of projects across the Republic of Cyprus, including prevention of illegal bird trapping within the sovereign base areas and the securing of the border between Southern and Northern Cyprus.Notable Achievements:• The generation and preparation of 120 soldiers to deploy with 1 months’ notice on Operation TORAL in Afghanistan. This included the management of simultaneously re-basing all soldiers to Cyprus whilst meeting pre-deployment requirements, including training in a variety of bespoke military vehicles and completing a demanding mission rehearsal exercise.

Chester, United Kingdom

Responsible for:• Planning and delivery of current and future training.• Producing policy for the care of £750'000 of equipment.• Preparation and deployment of all C Company soldiers on exercises and operations.• When required stand in for Company Commander.Notable achievements to date:• Preparation and deployment of C Company personnel to Iraq on Operation SHADER 5 from June - December 2017.

Bulford, Wiltshire

• Commanded 5 Platoon, B (Malta) Company as part of 1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment an Armoured Infantry Unit in The British Army.• Responsible for the training, education, administration and discipline of over 30 soldiers and the maintenance and operation of 4 Warrior Armoured Fighting Vehicles.• In the field I provided the tactical lead for the Platoon working to the Company Commander.• Utilised a solid understanding of complex vehicle platforms, weapons systems and communication equipment.Notable achievements include:• Completion of the Platoon Commander's Battle Course at the Infantry Battle School, Brecon.• Completion of the Armoured Infantry Platoon Commander's Course in Bovington and Lulworth.• Delivery of a comprehensive Warrior AFV range package at the Battalion Gunnery Camp in Castlemartin.• Led an 8 man team to a Silver medal in the demanding Cambrian Patrol, 2016.• Planned and delivered the deployment of the 1 MERCIAN Alpine Skiing Team to the Infantry Alpine Skiing Championships in Val D'Isere, France and further to the Divisional and Army Championships in Serre Chevalier, France - Including Captaining the Infantry Alpine Team. Both roles required large amounts of planning, administration and the accounting of large quantities of money and equipment• Deployment on a multi-national NATO exercise in Lithuania, working under an American Headquarters.

6 month operational deployment as part of the US led Coalition to provide training to the Iraqi Security forces in order to enable them in their fight against Daesh.Responsible for:• Planning and co-ordination of Counter-IED and Explosive Breaching training within a Spanish run, multi-national Build Partner Capacity Base.• Producing significant pieces of staff work including reports, permissions and learning accounts.• Lead for the co-ordination of in camp security and force protection for the UK Contingent, and liaison with Spanish, Portuguese, American and Canadian counterparts.• Equipment care manager for the sub-unit.• Led with the complex R&R and Relief in Place plans for all UK Training Team (Besmaya) personnel.• When required commanded the Training Team for significant periods.
