Selected as Graduate Research Assistant by the Director of the Master in Quantitative and Computational Finance Program, Dr. Sudheer Chava. My primary project involved analyzing and creating visualizations of the Bureau of Labor Statistics data to study the impact of Amazon Fulfillment Centers on local retail industries. To accomplish this I compiled and cleansed over 10 million industry and geographic-specific wage and employment data points using R and SAS.

I worked directly with executives, clinical operations managers, and IT analysts to install Epic's Beaker LIS module. In order to adapt the software to each client's unique workflows, I used rule-based customization and wrote custom reports to analyze various clinical and operational metrics. I also designed and completed projects to improve the module system delivered to newly installing customers and participated in a project to assess the financial viability of deviled a proposed module.

As a research assistant in the Bowman Lab, I conducted laboratory research for a project studying the effects of heavy metal toxicity and manganese exposure on Huntington's disease neuropathology. During my research, I designed and conducted experiments to test the effects of manganese exposure and genotype on the expression of core circadian clock genes using mouse striatal cell cultures and optimized genotyping reactions used to identify mice for experiments and plan breeding stages. I also utilized Excel and GraphPad Prism to analyze the data from my experiments and then presented the results in laboratory meetings.
