Though most of my time was spent on the server-side slinging Rails code to build REST APIs supporting mobile and single-page web applications, I dove into client-side code often to help with some of our harier problems such as intricate bluetooth protocols or patching Android's libstagefright to support some custom Miricast extensions.I also had the responsibility of leading a cross-discipline team of 10 on SB's largest ever project through most of its nearly year and a half of development leading up to a successful launch.

Most of my time there went to building integration services (mostly Rails/Sinatra behind REST APIs deployed in EC2) to help provide LinkedIn with its slideshare-backed content features.

I worked as a freelance developer slinging PHP for clients I met in IRC chats starting in middle school. This effort evolved into a small consultancy with several sub-contractors building all sorts of things in PERL, Ruby, C and Lisp by the time I left highschool and went to work for my first startup.
